Since the Meiji era, I have settled here on Asakusa Fureai-Dori(street) and have been watching the transition of Asakusa from the Taisho era to the Reiwa era.
Among the inhabitants of Fureai-dori(street), I have become one of the oldest man, but as a resident of Asakusa Fureai-dori, I continue to cherish the tradition of downtown Asakusa that has been passed down from the Edo era.
Asakusa is the only city in Tokyo that retains the atmosphere of Edo, and we are proud of it.
It’s been a long time since I started a funeral director in Asakusa, and I would like to cherish the contact with the local people and cherish the activities here.
